Ok so everything is set for Dut Deng to come feb 14th to speak. I also talked with Ms. Jefferys and there is a possibility that we can bump Mrs. Meigs so he can give a short chapel talk that night, then later people can come talk to him individually during that free block. Also i think everything is set for the movie to be shown during the previous two Hum Dev periods, and we will hopefully have it mandatory for as many people as possible so that they know the history of the group. So now all that we will do it start planning for the fundraising....any ideas?

what about a jeans day? i know they are always done but i think it could be a good starting point. and the guys mentioned that many people dont pay for it-- well maybe you could work on that. What about the idea you had about weighing the food? do you think that could still work?
Yeh we should do anything we can to fundraise for this event, i know he would like all the help he can get for sudan and we should help him and the country. I think we should do a jeans day and possibly a bake sale. Also we should really push for a forum. Human Development periods would be an ok place to have the movie but it would have more of an impact in our community of we play the movie on a forum. Everyone would go to the forum and watch the movie and this is what we want. If anyone has other ideas about fundraising post!!!
ok i dont know if this would work anna...but you know the rainbow dance and how half goes to the gay homeless people and the other half goes to outreach...and sinse you and i are working alot on the dance..what if we put the other half of what we make towards this?? I dont know if that would work or if you want too?? or if Ms. Gatski would agree...but just a thought..we would prob end up getting a thousand dollars which would be AMAZING
