Raising Money and Awareness at Millbrook
After reflecting on the film I think it would be a great thing if we could somehow donate money to the Lost Boys. Im not completely sure if this is possible but i would really liked to. Maybe we could do a group project where we are in charge of raising money and sending it to them. I think it would be great to help those who need it. I would be willing to do alot of organizing and even if we dont do a group project i would be willing to do some work outside of class as well. Let me know if anyone is interested.

that is actually what i wrote my personal response about! i would also love to help with that and i know anna would too, as she said in class she has tried to get in contact with different memers of the lost boys. i defenitly think there are things we can do and should do.
I would definitely be interested in helping with the fundraising as well.
I think that Beau has a good idea but I think it would be better to do that during a time when people’s parents are on campus. No disrespect to students, but if we incorporate parents hopefully more money will come, but they would be able to spread the word of campus. Maybe if we do this as a group project for now on campus, but then at spring parents weekend or something make something bigger, with real hand outs and statistics. I bet we would be able to join a save Darfur group or something. That would also allow the Millbrook people realize the immense help they are giving.
beau---now that we have established that we want to make this concert happen, just let me know if there are any tasks or specific things that need to be done. you can delegate me to do whatever you need.
